Rachel : #loveyoubest contest! My dad and Granny (his mom) standing at Ellis Island. At one time my Oma (his grandmother), fresh off the boat from Germany, stood in the same room. She was seeking and exploring a hopeful future here. She made a new home in Maryland and passed it on to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Love these two, and the ones from which they came. #family #generations
